The majority of traditional leadership development programmes expect everybody to follow the same programme regardless of their needs. This may be ineffective or even counter-productive for many participants.
The Leadership Programme begins with the participants indentifying their own development needs during the course of the first day. This important step ensures commitment to the programme, which is then clearly focused on the areas judged to be the most valuable.
This in no way precludes the mandatory inclusion of corporate messages, competency models, performance management processes and any other required frameworks. We find that participants engage willingly in learning the corporate approach once it has been linked to their own needs.
